The (international) Noise Conspiracy posted: "We’ve demoed a good 16 songs by now and we are really excited about the new songs. Our ambition is to record before the end of the year.
So, that would mean a new record out sometime next spring, we will keep you posted on this as soon as we know more about the recording."

The Faint posted: "The Faint is still busy writing songs for our next album. We will be sure to post anything newsworthy."

The Datsuns New Album

For now "Smoke & Mirrors" is only a UK release. You can get the new single with some non-album songs on iTunes though. I will post a US release date as soon as I see it. They are touring the UK at the moment. Tour dates are here.

The Afghan Whigs First New Material In Eight Years!

The Afghan Whigs will convene in Cincinnati in two weeks to rehearse their first new material in eight years for an upcoming Rhino Records retrospective of the band entitled Unbreakable. After rehearsing the songs for four days, the band; John Curley, Greg Dulli, Rick McCollum and Michael Horrigan will travel to Memphis, TN to record at Ardent with longtime Whigs collaborator, Jeff Powell.

PJ HARVEY: FIRST EVER DVD RELEASE

PJ Harvey DVD will be released world-wide by Island Records on May 1st 2006 (May 23rd in the US) . Titled “PJ Harvey On Tour – Please Leave Quietly” and directed by Maria Mochnacz, it was filmed during the Uh Huh Her Tour and offers an intimate and insightful look into a world of touring, performing and travelling.
