Tops in 2007 ...

Well, 2007 turned out to be a good year for music. My list has doubled from last year's! I'm gonna keep the monologue to a minimum and let the music stand for itself. So crack open a brew and sit back and actually listen to at least one of these albums in its entirety.

Honorable Mention: Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Is Is EP

Clutch - From Beale Street To Oblivion

9. Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass

8. Queens Of The Stone Age - Era Vulgaris

7. Bad Brains - Build A Nation

6. Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank

5. Beastie Boys - The Mix-Up

4. Pelican - City Of Echoes

3. Dinosaur Jr. - Beyond

2. K-OS - Atlantis: Hymns for Disco

1. Kings Of Leon - Because of the Times

Thanks for the list. Aesop's None Shall Pass is one of my favorites this year too. Please check out my list at http://eclectic-grooves.blogspot.com, and let me know what you think.

Have a good one!

Yup definately like that that list, thanks.

So how's the list for 2008 shaping up? I have a contender for you. Dieter Schöön's album Lablaza. It's being given a release this year outside of Sweden which is where Dieter is from. I am totally overwhelmed by it and thought you might enjoy it too.

Here's the link to his myspace:

& if you like those songs let me know if you want a link to the album.

All the best, Carl
